Course duration is 9 weeks. Full attendance of Live classes & completion of quizzes & assignments is mandatory in order to earn the certificate. Having your access to a learner to practice with is an added advantage

What certificate will I get?

KHDA attested Certificate from ABTi for course completion is given ONLY if ALL sessions are attended & assignments submitted.

Who will deliver this course?

Training Instructors who are BCBA/BCaBA with a Masters Level Education in Special Education/Psychology. Our trainers have a cumulative experience of over 60 years. You may read about the HERE.

What is the duration?

12 hours Classes & 3 hours of assignment. Classes are held LIVE ONLINE. They will include presentations, lectures, discussions, videos & case studies. Assignment is to be completed by the last session in the form of Preparation & presentation of an IEP for 1 Target Skill chosen by the Trainee.

What certificate will I get?

Certificate from ABTi for course completion upon FULL attendance & assignment submission.

The certificate can be attested by KHDA for an additional fee of AED 120/-

ABTi is registered with KHDA (Knowledge & Human Development Authority – Dubai).

Prerequisite for this course?

Completion of ABA Level 1 course at ABTi OR completion of 40hrs of RBT training from any provider OR more than 1 year of implementation experience of basic principles of ABA.

Acceptance & Commitment Training

DURATION: Set of 4 Sessions: 90 mins each

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) gets it name from one of its core messages: accept what is out of your personal control, and commit to action that improves and enriches your life. The aim of ACT is to maximize the human potential for a rich, full and meaningful life. ACT (which is pronounced as the word ‘act’, not as the initials) does this by:

a) teaching you mindfulness skills to deal with your painful thoughts and feelings effectively – in such a way that they have a lesser impact and influence over you.

b) helping you to clarify what is truly important and meaningful to you – i.e your values – then use that knowledge to coach you to change your life for the better.

Towards Compassionate & Evidence based Inclusion

We are pleased to announce the first of its kind course “Towards Compassionate & Evidence Based Inclusion”.

You may consider this workshop as an ideal starting point to prepare and motivate your school’s team to begin a value based conversation & commitment towards inclusion.

This interactive workshop goes beyond the typical training provided on inclusive education. It provides educators with a more comprehensive understanding of how to ethically and compassionately create a positive learning environment which supports well-being.

Target Audience: School leaders, Heads of Departments, Teachers, Special Educators, SENCOs, Teaching Assistants, LSAs.

Content: Through a series of exercises, discussions, videos and lectures based on Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACTr), this workshop helps educators connect with their core values and find compassion for themselves and their students. Attendees will learn evidence-based strategies on how best to implement the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help students with special needs and learning difficulties to succeed. Tools and resources to promote staff well-being and student independence will be presented, and by the end of the training, attendees will come to embrace inclusion and connect it to daily actions that support inclusive education environments.

Time Commitment: The training is made of four modules Towards Inclusion, Barriers to Inclusion, Strategies for Inclusion, and Compassionate Inclusion. These four modules may be completed in one 6-hour workshop, or split across 2 sessions of 3 hours each. This training can be provided in person at your venue OR online via zoom.

Participant Numbers: As this is an interactive course we suggest a maximum capacity of 30 persons.

Training Providers: The ABTI is a Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) recognized training institute. Our course is conducted by experts who have been in the field for many years, holding BCBA/BCaBA/Masters certifications in relevant fields of study.

Certification: All participants who attend all four modules will earn a certificate of completion from the ABTI, and KHDA attestation can be done at an additional fee.
