Here are a few videos that provide some idea of what ABA sessions look like and explain some of the ABA principles with visual and multiple examples. Our views differ in a few of the things they say and do but overall they are very good examples to look at when beginning to understand ABA procedures. Please take the time to watch them.

ABA Introduction to the series
The first video is an introduction to the series.
Chapter 1 – Discrete Trial
This video explains what a discrete trial is and how to present it to a learner.
Chapter 2 – Reinforcement
This video illustrates what is reinforcement and various types of reinforcers.
Chapter 3 – Prompting
This video talks about Prompting procedures and fading of prompts.
Chapter 4 – Generalization
Once a skill is learned it needs to be performed across different people, places and items. This is called Generalization.
Chapter 5 – Incidental Teaching
A lot of teaching opportunities arise in the natural environment. We call it Incidental Teaching.
